Navadvipa-dhama is non-different from Vrindavana, the transcendental abode of Lord Krishna. It has been a major pilgrimage site for the Gaudiya Vaishnavas after the discovery of the birthplace of Lord Chaitanya in the year 1888, by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, a prominent acharya in the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya. He also discovered many of the sites of Lord Chaitanya there.

ISKCON Bangalore group of temples organized the Sri Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama from February 21 to 26, 2017.

This program by ISKCON Bangalore group was initiated by His Grace Jai Chaitanya Dasa, Temple President, ISKCON  Mysore. The Parikrama provides a wonderful opportunity to  devotees to visit different holy places in the Dhama.

About 200 initiated devotees participated in the six-day Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama and visited the following holy places associated with the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya and His devotees. A Deity of Srila Prabhupada travelled with the  devotees during the entire Parikrama.

In addition to this, the ecstatic bhajans & kirtans, delicious prasadam served during the Parikrama, made the tour an unforgettable spiritual experience for all the participants.

Here is what some of the participants had to say about their experience during the Parikrama.

A simply wonderful experience of the Holy Dham. It was for the first time that I spent a considerable time amidst devotees. Especially the Vaishnava Bhajans at the specific places of pastimes were the icing on the cake.
– Prataparudra Dasa (Hare Krishna Movement, Ahmedabad)

Heartfelt thanks to all the devotees for arranging this Navadvip parikrama! We're really carrying back many wonderful and spiritual memories. The best part of the trip is association with the senior devotees. Their narrating of pastimes helps us to get more valuable information about the places. Looking forward to the next parikrama!
– Vraja Nandani Devi Dasi (Hare Krishna Movement, Bhilai)

We are still not able to come out of the glimpses of parikrama. Still feel to be there till Gaura Purnima festival. We can't forget the association of all devotees. Very eager to join the next parikrama as soon as possible.
– Vaikunthanath Dasa and Nithyalaxmi Devi Dasi (Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad)

I thank the parikrama organizers for the divine experience of Navadvip mandal parikrama and meticulously coordinating the yatra. Associating with devotees, learning about the pastimes of the transcendental places has been amazing. Kirtans and Vaishnava bhajans truly ecstatic. We are immensely grateful for the association of senior devotees who narrated the pastimes which helps in reminiscing about the glories of the dham. Looking forward to the next parikrama.
