Sri Sri Krishna Balaram in Gaura Nitai alankar
On the auspicious occasion of Sri Gaura Purnima, the Appearance day celebrations of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Sri Krishna Balaram, the presiding Deities of Sunnyvale Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir are adorned in the alankar of Gauranga and Nityananda.
Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir was established by devotees of Hare Krishna Movement. This was one of the first initiatives of the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore in the west. This temple is an initiative of India Heritage Foundation to create a place where religion, knowledge, arts, music and culture meet. The temple intends to present and propagate the teachings of Srila Prabhupada.
It attracts thousands of devotees on the west coast and has grown into a vibrant center for distributing Krishna consciousness in just a span of 4-5 years. The festivals and events attract the Indian diaspora and the Americans alike.
Gaura Purnima is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the temple. The festival celebrations are as follows on Sunday, March 4th 2018:

Morning – 7:15 am – 1:00 pm
Evening – 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday – Darshan open throughout the day
Sunday special program
Besides the regular worship and other activities conducted in the temple, a special program is held every Sunday.
