The 18th Brahmotsava festival was celebrated at ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Bangalore from April 3 to April 15, 2015 in a grand way. The Deities made Their divine appearance on the Hare Krishna hill, 18 years ago and are receiving various services offered by devotees and have been showering blessings upon them.
The 13-day-long celebrations began with the dhvajarohana ceremony wherein the Garuda flag was hoisted onto the dhvaja-stambha. The subsequent days included a number of festivities such as Brahmotsava-yajna, vahanotsava followed by audio-visual show/nritya seva, sangeeta seva and dolotsava, kalyanotsava, Brahma ratha, maha pallakki, churnabhisheka, theppotsava, etc. Thousands of devotees enthusiastically took part in these festivities and renewed their devotional spirit. The celebrations concluded with the dhvaja-avarohana ceremony followed by the maha-samprokshana on the final day.
